ALL BLACK FOR HASTINGS. By Telegraph—Press Association. HASTINGS, April 28. Ron Ward, Invercargill, the prominent 1937 All Black, will in future reside at Hastings and will play for the Hastings Rugby Football Club this season. Mr Ward has arrived at Hasings and will play his first match here next Saturday. RED STAR THIRDS. The Red Star thirds to play Wairarapa College at College ground tomorrow will be as follows: —Rutherford, Williams, Cole, Orsborne (2), Newland, Jorgersen, Prescott, Corlett, Levens, Needham, Rippon, Reid, Campbell, Wickens, Allen, Wyeth, Gemmell. MASTERTON SENIORS. The following is the Masterton senior team to play Gladstone at the Memorial Park tomorrow: —Dickason, Goodhue, Gray, Barnett, Osborne, Lanauze, Reiri (2), Workman, Morris, Hargood, O’Brien, Percy, Welch (2), Large, .Crookendon, Long, Whiteman, Ford. Players are to be on the ground at 2 p.m. OLD BOYS’ TEAMS. The following are the Old Boys’ teams for tomorrow: —Junior to play Red Star at Memorial Park at 2.30:— Foreman, Schofield, Meurk, Faulknor, Colquhoun, Tildesley, Flaws, Gregg, Devery, Wingate, Stowell, Smith, Alexander, Rayner, Dyer, Liidemann, Barton, Corbishley. Old Boys’ thirds to play Martinborough, at Martinborough, cars leaving the Post Office at 1.30 sharp:—Wilton, Keats, Pollock, Martin, Brooks, McKenzie, Cardno, Milner, Wingate, Wickens, O’Neill, Blake (2), Faulknor, Jaspers, Johns, Morris, Emerson, Christie, Cobb, Buick, Rayner, Burling. The Opaki team will play its first match of the season tomorrow and players are requested to be on the ground early.
