A WIN FOR' BLOMFIELD. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH. April 27. Exerting his famous octopus clamp to such a degree that his opponent could not continue, Lofty Blomfield. 16_8, tonight beat Joe Tonti, 15.8, in a' wrestling match that attracted a packed house. ' The hold was applied in the seventh round, and Tonti was obviously unfit to continue after he had been disentangled. Until that time, Tonti. a clever and agile wrestler, more than held his own in a fast and spectacular bout.
