MASTERTON CLUB OUTING. In spite of Saturday's rough weather a good muster of Harriers turned out for the last preliminary run before next Saturday's official opening. Although the course was fairly waterlogged everyone enjoyed the outing. Next Saturday the official opening of the Club will take place at 2.45 p.m. from the Park Oval. In the evening a dance will be held in the Municipal Hall. In connection with the Club’s anniversary meeting on May 14 a number of outside clubs have written signifying that they intend to be present, among them being the Scottish Club, Brooklyn Club and Palmerston North Club. third horses, but win dividends have been withheld in the meantime.
