HEAVY ATTACKS
CHINESE GAINS IN SEVERAL PROVINCES. JAPANESE OUTNUMBERED. HONG KONG, April 25. The Chinese, profiting by the denudation of the Japanese lines, have attacked heavily in Hopei, Honan and Shansi, gaining ground in Central and South Hopei, recapturing Wenhsien and occupying several Shansi towns. They outnumber the Japanese every-where'-in these sectors.
