WAIRARAPA RUGBY UNION. FIRST ROUND FIXTURES. (“Times-Age” Special.) The championship matches of the Wairarapa Rugby Football Union will commence next Saturday in the senior, junior and third grade divisions. The 4th grade will not start their t matches until May 7. : Only two nominations have been re- ■ ceived for the sth grade—from Car- ; terton and Martinborough clubs—and I an effort is to be made to get other ’ clubs to enter teams, and the fixtures will then be arranged. The following are the fixtures drawn for the seniors, juniors, thirds and fourth grade players. In view of the fact that the usual visit to Hawke’s Bay will be made by the Wairarapa senior fifteen in June, players will no doubt be anxious to display their best form on -the Saturdays available in order to qualify for selection in the first rep. game of the season:— SENIOR.
