GOLF CLUB SEASON OPENED. (“Times-Age” Special.) The official opening of the Golf Club was held on Saturday afternoon. In a short speech the president, Mrs W. J. Martin, wished every member a successful season and remarked on the excellent condition of the links. The very enthusiastic members played a round or two in the rain, but most were content to partake of the delicious afternoon tea served by Mrs W. J. Martin. PERSONAL. Mr and Mrs H. L. Griffiths and family returned yesterday from their Easter vacation FOOTBALL DANCE. To wind up the first day of the football season a dance was held in the Odd Fellows’ Hall on Saturday night.
