Dunedin. —The senior Rugby competition opened on Saturday in beautiful weather. Results: —Kaikorai 10, Pirates 9; Southern 18, Alhambra 0; University A 25, Union 3; Zingari 13, University B 9; Taieri 9, Dunedin 5.
