Fleming beat Miss B. Rutherford, 3 and 2; Miss H. Buchanan beat Miss J. Stevenson, 5 and 4; Mrs D. Crombie beat Mrs A. C. McKillop, 4 and 2; Miss J. Horwell beat Miss E. White-Parsons at the nineteenth. In the first round for the Shirley Trophy Mrs G. Van Asch beat Mrs F. Brittan, 6 and 5; Mrs E. J. Pumphrey beat Mrs W. A. C. McDonald at the nineteenth; Mrs H. Richards beat Mrs D. McLennan, 4 and 3; Miss B. Gould beat Mrs T. Foster, 4 and 3. MASTERTON CLUB. MEDAL COMPETITIONS. A Silver and Bronze Medal competition will be played on Tuesday, April 26.
