EKETAHUNA
BALL AT NIREAHA. (“Times-Age” Special.) On Monday night the Nireaha Sports Club held a most successful ball, there being a large attendance of dancers from all over the Wairarapa. Messrs W. Holloway and R. Lawrence were M.sC. The music was supplied by an orchestra and Miss V. Edge (Newman) played extras. Excellent displays of tap and acrobatic dancing were given by Misses N. Graham, Helen Lock and Joyce Lock. FAREWELL GATHERING.
In the Tiraumea hall the residents of the district tendered a farewell to Mr and Mrs W. E. Moss. During the course of the evening Mr and Mrs Moss were the recipients of a handsome silver tea service from the people of Tiraumea, Haunui and Waihoki. Mr Moss also received a gift of a wallet from the Tiraumea Football Club.
Music for the dancing was supplied by Messrs G. Houlbrooke, L. Dowering, Harman, G. Curtis and R. Churchhouse. Mrs Moss was presented with a posy.
