« A NOTED AUTHOR. (Recd This Day. 12.25 p.m.) LONDON, April 19. The death is announced of the noted author Mr Filson Young. ’ [The late Mi- Young was born in Ballyeaston, Ireland, in 1876. He had been a war correspondent in the South African War, r literary editor of the “Daily Mail” (London), and formerly editor of the “Outlook.” At the outbreak of the Great War he assisted in organising the Australian hospital in London to which he was secretary. He published a large number of books, including several dealing with noted criminal trials.]
