ANGLO=ITALIAN AGREEMENT CONSIDERED STEP TOWARDS APPEASEMENT. AID TO STABILITY IN EAST AFRICA. (British Official Wireless). (Recd This Day, 10.0 a.m.) RUGBY, April 19. The full reactions abroad to the British-Italian Agreement are now becoming known, although the Easter holidays have delayed comment in some European countries. Reports which so far have reached London indicate that the agreement generally is welcomed as a valuable step towards European appeasement and stability in East Africa.
