COOK STRAIT AIRWAYS

NEW RECORDS ESTABLISHED ON FRIDAY. By Telegraph —Press Association. NELSON, April 16. New records were created yesterday by Cook Strait Airways, when 150 passengers were carried on planes flying continuously between Nelson and Wellington from 6.30 a.m. to 6 p.m., with frequent services between Wellington and Blenheim. The West Coast service extended to Greymouth only, owing to the flooding of the Hokitika Aerodrome. Four planes and six pilots were engaged. On Thursday, despite the most adverse weather conditions, Cook Strait Airways carried fifty passengers across the Strait.
