TYNESIDE CLUB ANNUAL MEETING OF MEMBERS (“Times-Age” Special) The annual meeting of the Tyneside Golf Club was held at Tyneside on Monday night, there being a good attendance of members and intending members. Mr lan Macßae occupied the chair, After some discussion of the balance sheet, which showed a good credit balance, officers of the club were elected as follows: —Patron, Mr H. R. W. Beetham; president, Mr lan Macßae; vicepresidents, Messrs A. D. S. Duncan and T. H. Horton; club captain, Mr O. L. Sykes;, secretary and treasurer, Mr lan Talbot; committee, Messrs W. G. Gillies, O. Williams, W. E. Kjestrup, M. D. McGregor; ladies’ committee, Mrs O. L. Sykes, Mrs R. Bayliss, Miss Bartholomew, with power'to add. It was decided that club competitions be played on Saturdays in future. The opening day was fixed for April 24. The hope was expressed that there would be a good gathering of members of other clubs on that day as had been been the case in the past. Arrangements for the opening day were discussed and dates fixed for working bees. The meeting Concluded with a very hearty vote of thanks to Messrs. MacRae and Gillies for the use of their properties without which generosity there would be no Tyneside Golf Club.
