SHIPOWNER ARRESTED
SENSATION IN HAMBURG. RELATIONS WITH NON-ARYAN GIRLS. (Recd This Day. 10.15 a.m.) LONDON. April 15. The Berlin correspondent of “The Times’’ says the Gestapo has caused consternation in commercial circles in Hamburg by arresting Erich Laiesz, chairman of a well-known shipping line, alleging race pollution by his relations with non-Aryan girls.
