PRISONERS SENTENCED
IN WELLINGTON SUPREME COURT. By Telegraph. —Press Association. WELLINGTON, April 13. The following prisoners were sentenced by Mr Justice Reed in the Supreme Court today:— Walter Nukunuku (24), assault and causing actual bodily harm at Gisborne, two years’ reformative detention. John Maurice Lee (25), false pretences at Hastings, one year’s probation. Frederick Roy Blackmore (20), unlawful carnal knowledge at Otaki, one year’s probation. Lionel Strong (21), forgery at Wellington, twelve months’ reformative.
