COMPENSATION CLAIM

JUDGMENT FOR PAHIATUA PLAINTIFF. (By Telegraph—Press Association). WELLINGTON, April 13. Judgment for plaintiff against all defendants for £lOOO, with £l5 15s costs and £39 7s 6d medical and funeral expenses, was given by Mr Justice Hunter in the Second Court of Arbitration today in the case between Martha Matilda Mills and Edward Jaques, builder, John Edward Murphy and Michael Francis Murphy, farmers, all of Pahiatua. The claim arose out of the death of John William Mills, who died on May 25 as the result of an accident.
