YOUTHFUL ESCAPEE FROM JUSTICE. By Telegraph—Press Association. BLENHEIM, April 13. The youthful fugitive who was apprehended yesterday after escaping from custody at Lyttelton when en route to Invercargill for admission to a Borstal institution, appeared before Mr T. E. Maunsell, S.M., in the Children’s Court this morning and was sentenced to an additional year’s detention on a charge of theft of a gold watch and a sum of money from a homestead near Blenheim.
