The following officers were elected: Patron, Mrs G. G. Hancox; president, Miss N. Boddington; vice-presidents, Mrs O. McKenzie, Miss O. R. Sutherland; committee, Misses J. Joyce. M. Pither, L. Wells, J. Wilton, AV. Young; drama, delegates, Misses B. Francis, P. Shearer; hon. secretary and treasurer, Miss P. Hubbard. It was decided for this year to retain the name of Wairarapa High School Old Girls’ Association, as there were not yet any old girls of the AVairarapa College.

Arrangements were made to hold the first social evening of the year at Miss N. Boddington’s, Short Street, on Monday, May 9, at 7.30 p.m. All members and intending members are cordially invited to be present. The annual report stated: —It is with pleasure that I report the close of another successful year for the Old Girls’ Association. Unfortunately our membership was not as strong as last year, partly owing to several of the girls leaving the district. AVc hope this year to be able to interest new members as this is the last year for' members to be drawn from the ranks of the old school.. At the annual general meeting it was decided to again hold social evenings at girls’ homes. We were grateful to different members who put their homes at our disposal to hold our evenings at wihch we enjoyed varied programmes of music, play reading and competitions. Our final evening this year took the form of a picture party, followed by a

supper party at the Country Women’s Club. An enjoyable time was spent by the forty girls present. The Association made a donation to the Mayor’s King George V Memorial Fund. It also presented the school with a set of nine good books which were gratefully acknowledged by the librarian. Our secretary, on account of ill-health, had to give up the position temporarily. She has oui - best wishes for a speedy recovery. Molly Bassett has capably carried on the secretary’s duties. It is pleasing to note that we still have a good balance in the bank with which to start our new year. Our thanks ar.e due to all who helped to make the season a happy one."—For the committee, Nina Boddington.
