TWO-YEAR PROGRAMME
RECONSTRUCTION OF BRIDGES MASTERTON COUNTY PLAN A two-year programme of bridge reconstruction was decided on at today’s meeting of the Masterton County Council. The following is a schedule of the bridges it is proposed to be included and Messrs Seaton, Sladden and Pavitt have been requested to furnish a detailed estimate in respect to each bridge. Main Highways: —No. 63, Masterton Weber Highway, Wangaehu Bridge at 10.6 M.; No. 65 Masterton Stronvar Highway, Wangaehu Overflow Bridge at 0.7 M.; No. 65 Masterton Stronvar Highway, Bridge near Longbridge at f.IM.; No. 441 Te Ore Ore Bideford Highway, Bridge near Sulphur Wells at 0.75 M; No. 441 Te Ore Ore Bideford Highway, Bridge near Bridge Creek, at 4.25 M.; No. 516 Blairlogie Langdale Highway, Mangapokia Stream Bridge No. 2 at Blairlogie. Riding Roads: — Waingawa - Camp Road Bridge at 9.4 M.; Kiriwhakapapa Road Bridge, No. 1; Jackson’s Road Bridge; Northcroft's Road Bridge; Te Ore Ore Settlement Road Bridge; Waiorongo Road Bridge; Kaiwhata Stream Bridge, Ngahape.
