DR. ALLEN RUTTER
WELCOME TOMORROW NIGHT. ' Dr Allen Rutter, a son of Mr and Mrs F. G. Rutter, of Tararua Street, who is leaving with his wife at the end of this month to take up duties with the Methodist Missions in the Solomon Islands, has had a brilliant career. Masterton residents will have an
opportunity tomorrow evening, in the Methodist Hall, of extending a welcome to Dr and Mrs Rutter. After graduating at the Otago School of Medicine, where he secured the degrees of M.B. and Ch.B., Dr Rutter proceeded to England, where he secured the much-coveted degree for Tropical Medicine and Hygiene and then the F.R.C.S.
Tomorrow evening’s gathering will start at 7.30 o’clock.
