FOOD HOARDING
URGED BY THE GOVERNMENT OF NORWAY. ON ACCOUNT OF EUROPEAN SITUATION. OSLO. April 9. A Ministry of Agriculture communique urges the entire population to hoard food because “the situation in Europe has become so serious that there is imminent danger of a crisis.” Householders are told to lay in stocks of dried fish, tinned fruit, and vegetables.
