WHANGAREI RACES. SECOND DAY. WHANGAREI, This Day. The Whangarei Racing Club’s autumn meeting is being concluded today in fine but overcast weather and before a large attendance of the public. The track has improved after yesterday’s rain. Results: — ONERAHI HANDICAP. Six furlongs. 6/7 Raceline, 8.0 1 5/5 Chief Lap, 8.3 2 2/3 Wincress, 8.3 3 Also started: —Alyth, Abbey Lass, High Star, Bright Idea, Orient Dawn. Won by half a length with t(ie third horse three-quarters of a length away. Time, Imin. 16 3-ssecs.
