MISSING MEN

FRUITLESS SEARCH. AUCKLAND, April 8. An extensive search by aeroplane was made yesterday by the Henderson police for Mr Wallace Edward Farley, aged 23, Whatipu, who has been missing from Whatipu since March 31, and Mr Alfred William Tisch, aged about 65, Onehunga, who was swept from the fishing launch Almora by a wave while crossing the Manukau bar about 11 o’clock last Monday morning. The coastline between Kaipara Heads and Titirangi was searched, but without results.

The police will continue the search, in which settlers along the coast are assisting.
