WHANGAREI RACES. WHANGAREI, This Day. The Whangerei Racing Club's autumn meeting opened in fine weather today.. The attendance was large, and the track in good condition although a shade soft, following the rain. Results:—
PORTLAND HACK. 1-2 High Star 1 .4-5 High Delight 2 5-4 Paddy the Rip 3 Scratched: Ringshot, Aymon, Gold Eagle. Won by a length with third horse 11 lengths away. Time. 1.17.
