STATE HOUSING

ADDITIONAL CONTRACTS LET THREE AT MASTERTON Additional contracts have been approved by Cabinet for the erection of houses under the Government's housing scheme. Contracts have been awarded for the construction of 31 dwellings, tenders called for 36 houses, and purchases of land sanctioned sufficient to accommodate 76 houses. Contracts for roading, sewerage and drainage have also been approved. The details of these undertakings were announced last evening by the Parliamentary Under-Secretary in charge of Housing, Mi' J. A. Lee. They are as follows: —•

W. Rigg, Ltd., have secured a contract for the erection of three houses at Masterton.
