NEW SWEATER

$ MISSING RIB STYLE. Sweaters which reach to the bottom rib, and known as “missing rib” style, are becoming very popular for holiday wear among film stars. The latest outfits created for the film stars, Grace Moore and Joan Blondell, both include suits with this feature. Miss Moore wears a dark blue woollen skating dress with a full circular skirt and fitted bodice. For warmth and gaiety, the designer added a blue and white sweater reaching only to the bottom rib. The body of the sweater is white, and Miss , Moore’s favourite shade of blue is knitted round the high neck and long sleeves in the form of the notes composing the theme song of her latest picture.
