Mrs Hornsby and Miss Telford, of Carterton, are visiting Gisborne.
Mrs D. B. Cameron (Hinakura) is spending a few days in Wellington. Miss Burdett, who has been staying with Mrs E. Foreman, Gladstone, has left by the Awatea on a visit to Sydney.
Mr and Mrs H. P. Harrison, Essex Street, are on a visit to Wellington. Mrs Allan, of Katomba, N.S.W., is visiting Carterton and is the guest of her mother, Mrs J. J. Knox Smith, Costley Street. Mrs. J. Hawken, of Carterton, has been appointed commercial instructress at the Greytown District High School.
Mrs. S. Williams, of Gisborne, who has been on a holiday visit to her parents in Greytown, Mr and Mrs Ed. Fuller, left to-day for.her home.
The members of the Primary Schools Calf Club made a presentation of a pipe and tobacco pouch to Mr S. A. La Roche, secretary, who has severed his connection with the club as he is leaving Masterton shortly, in appreciation of the services rendered to the club over a considerable period.
