Miss Bell Simpson, of Wellington, is the guest of Mrs W. Bentley, Pahiatua.
Miss M. Davey, of Martinborough, has returned home from a short visit to Christchurch.
Mrs F. Dawson, of Masterton, is the guest of Mrs C. le Comte, Albert Street, Pahiatua. Mrs W. Rowse, of Pahiatua, is visiting Palmerston North.
Messrs W. Rowse and F. F. Barraclough, of Pahiatua, have left on a fishing trip to Taupo. Mrs K. Bailey, of Remuera, Auckland, is visiting Carterton, and is the guest of Mr and Mrs R. T. Forbes.
Miss Gwen Gibbs, A.R.A.D. (London), Palmerston North, has been notified that she has received her licentiate (operatic branch) of the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing. It is' believed there is no other similar licentiate held by a New Zealander.
