GARDEN CIRCLE

MEETING AT MARTINBOROUGH. There was a good attendance of members at the March meeting of the Garden Circle, which was held at Mrs Herrick's residence. Garden hints were given, and as is usual, most members took home cuttings of plants. It has been decided to hold a competition each month for the "Best flower in my garden.” Mrs Hamilton has offered a prize for the most points, and Mrs Tyler one for the runner-up. It was decided that the circle members make a wreath for tbe Institute for Anzac Day.

At the next meeting members will bring chrysanthemums for exhibition and judging.
