Living a perfectly normal life in their home in the north-west of London, Mr and Mrs A. G. Signy still live a very divided life, especially at meal-times, for while one eats in Hendon the other eats in Hampstead, the reason being that the boundary line runs through the centre of their table. Two sets of rates have to be paid, and one half of the house is rated much higher than the other.
