A fierce fight between a shark and a crocodile was watchd lately by a shooting party on the Adelaide River in Australia, 50 miles from Darwin. The shark was seven feet long and the crocodile three feet longer. With . a terrifiv sweep of its tail he crocodile sent the shark flying into the air and then dived into the muddy water, which was soon beaten into foam in the struggle. The end was sudden. The exhausted shark came slowly to the surface, but was dragged down again by thq crocodile.
