CANTON ISLAND
HAWAIIANS LAND. AWAITING SETTLEMENT OF DISPUTE. SUVA, This Day. The secretary of the Western Pacific High Commission states that four Hawaiians landed at Canton Island. They have settled down amicably awaiting the diplomatic settlement of the question of the ownership of the disputed territory.
The liner Niagara reports that British and American flags are flying on the island.
