APPEAR TO FAVOUR GOVERNMENT WAFDIST EX-MINISTERS DEFEATED LONDON, March 31. Reuter's Cairo correspondent states that the elections appear to favour the Government. Early returns show the defeat of three Wafdist ex-ministers Makfa Pasha, Alyzak Pasha and Hilaly Bey. but the deputies can contest two constituencies so Makram Pasha may be elected for Cairo.
