RUGBY TOUR

NEW ZEALAND’S ITINERARY AMENDED. FIVE PLAYING SATURDAYS. (Received This Day, 11.15 a.m.) SYDNEY, This Day. The New South Wales Rugby Union agreed to the New Zealand Union’s request for limitation of its Australian tour to five playing Saturdays. The proposed match against Victoria at Melbourne has been eliminated. To make the reduction New South Wales regards it as essential for five Saturday matches to be allotted to Sydney and Brisbane. Victoria was anxious for a match, but was willing to forego it to meet New Zealand’s wishes.
