The March averages of cows tested by the Wairarapa Herd Testing Association are as follow: — Greytown No. 1 Group: Cows under test, 974; monthly group average, 6341 b. milk, 29.81 b fat; highest herd average, 33 cows, 411bs fat; highest cow, 771 b fat. Greytown No. 2 Group: Cows under test, 1160; monthly group average. 6551 b milk, 29.51 b fat; highest herd average, 27 cows, 371bs fat; highest cow, 641 b fat. Gladstone Group: Cows under test, 1475; monthly group average, 6271 b milk. 32.61 b fat; highest herd average, 66 cows, 421 b fat; highest cow, 851 b fat.
Featherston Group: Cows under test 2330; monthly group average, 5701 b milk, 26.71 b fat; highest herd average. 119 cows, 381 b fat; highest cow, 661 b fat.
Martinborough Group: Cows under test, 1237; monthly group average, 531 lb milk, 23.91 b fat; highest herd average. 44 cows, 331 b fat; highest cow, 65 lb fat.
Pahautea Group: Cows sunder test, 709; monthly group average, 5211 b milk, 231 b fat; highest herd average, 32 runs, 331 b fat; highest cow, 621 b fat.
