MR. SAVAGE’S HEALTH
DECLARED TO BE FULLY RESTORED
Referring to rumours that the health of the Prime Minister (the Rt Hon M. J. Savage) is still far from satisfactory Mr. J. Robertson, member for Masterton, stated yesterday that he was in a position personally to state that these rumours were entirely without foundation and that the Prime Minister was now in excellent health, and quite his old self again. “Last week,” said Mr. Mr Robertson, “we had a caucus which lasted for two full days and part of an evening. Mr. Savage presided all the time and took an active part in the proceedings. No one who has seen the Prime Minister at that and other occasions can doubt that he is thoroughly fit again. He is certain to take an active part in the deliberations of the National Health and Superannuation Committee.
