AN AGED PRINCE
THRONE OF LICHTENSTEIN RENOUNCED. FEARS OF GERMANY INDICATED. (Received This Day, 9.5 a.m.) London, March 31. Prince Franz 1., aged 84, has renounced the throne of Lichtenstein in favour of Prince Francis Josef, aged 31, thus voicing the Principality’s fears regarding the result of the German annexation of Austria.
The Diet has passed a resolution In favour of independence, fidelity to the reigning house and adherence to treaties.
