FATAL SERUM
SIX WOMEN DEAD. OSTENSIBLY FROM LOCKJAW. ORLANDO, Florida, March 31. Six women have died and six are critically ill ostensibly from lockjaw after receiving serum treatment to relieve pain caused by cancer. Eleven others treated at the same time are under observation and have been given tetanus injections. A SEVENTH VICTIM. ORLANDO (Florida), March 31. (Received This Day, 9.25 a.m.) A seventh cancer serum victim has died. The condition of the four survivors is serious.
