TORNADO DISASTER

MANY KILLED AND INJURED IN U.S.A. ILLINOIS CITY ALMOST WIPED OUT. PATH OF STORM STRETCHES FOR 600 MILES. (Received This Day, 9.25 a.m.) Kansas City, March 31. Deaths, as the result of a tornado, now total 27, and 300 persons were injured. All but two buildings at South Pekin (Illinois) were levelled. National Guardsmen rushed to the city to assist those injured and prevent looting.. The path of the storm stretched for 600 miles.
