POLITICAL.
WAIKATO. Mr H. J. Greenslade, addressed a meeting of friends and supporters at Cambridge on Monday evening. A strong committee with the Mayor (Mr Geo. Dickinson) as chairman was formed, and sub-committees are being arranged. Mr J. A. Young addressed a meeting of ladies at Hamilton on Monday afternoon. His remarks were greatly appreciated, and a vote of thanks and confidence was carried by acclamation.
At Te Rapa bn Monday evening, Mr Young had a most successful meeting, and was accorded a unanimous vote of thanks aud confidence.
In another column Mr T. A.-, Young announces the datesQfcp* political meetings at' rangi, Hairini and Parawera. Within a few days Mr Young hopes to have made arrangements . for meetings at Korokanui(Friday afternoon 17th.) and Wharepuhanga that evening, and at Tautari on Saturday evening. When arrangements are completed ajj definite announcement will pear in our columns. fl
