KIHI KIHI FOOTBALL CLUB.
The annual meeting of the above club took place on Saturday evening, and brought together a large number of members.
Reports and balance-sheet were presented and approved, the latter showing a credit balance of over £2.
In view of the large expenditure on equipment, which had been necessary during last season, this was considered by no means unsatisfactory. The remcval of Mr P. D. O’Connor from the district was made the subject of an enthusiastic vote of thanks, in which his great services to the game received cordial mention. He was also created a life member of the club.
The officers of last year were re-elected, the only change being the elevation of Captain HopeJohnston to the presidential office.
Mr F. J. Ve.vner was re-elected secretary. It was decided after discussion to affiliate with the Cambridge Rugby Union. Members are notified that practice will'be held next Saturday afternoon, in,the Domain, at 2.3°. A full attendance is asked for, so that the interest already evinced may be well sustained and even increased.
