On Thursday (Queen’s Birthday), the school committee and inhabitants are providing refreshments for holding a children’s picnic and afternoon tea on the schoolground here, at which time and place Lady Campbell will hoist the flag she is presenting to the committee to celebrate the Queen’s Birthday, and will also address the children upon loyalty and patriotism, and thank those who gave and erected the flagstaff that enables her to perform the function. All are invited and will be welcome.
