Prices for 18 medium quality showed an advance of fully Is per head over last week’s prices. The following are the wholesale selling prices on the Wellington produce market Wheat 2s 4d,’oats 2s to 2s 3d, barley, Cape 2s 3d, maize 3s, flour £7, pollard 955, bran 80s, oatmeal £ll, chaff 655, hay 90s, field ' beans 3s, field peas 3s Gd, potatoes £2 ss, onions £3 10s, butter, dairy Bd, separator 9d to 9|d, cheese sd, bacon hams G-Jd, fowls 2s Gd, roosters 2s 9d, ducks 3s Gd, turkeys Gs to 10s, geese 4s Gd, fresh eggs Is lOd, limed Is 2d.

2 ‘ Wiliams and Kettle report having held their periodical sale of skins, to hides, and tallow, when they of- * fered 151 bales, 9G packets, and J 1 bags of wool, 2,377 skins, 67 hides, •s and 4 casks and 21 packages of tallow. We are pleased to report that a full bench of buyers bid freely, and one of the brightest sales of the season resulted in full values being obtained in all departments. Wool

consisted chiefly of crutchings and stragglers 1 fleeces. The following prices were obtained: — Inferior crossbred from 4Jd to sd, merino (inferior) 6d, pieces from 34d to 4£d, crutchings from 2jd,. for seconds up to 4£d for superior well picked bright lots/ locks 2£d, skins and pelts from 4d to Is 9d each for a well picked lot. Crossbreds from 3£d to 4d, halfbred up to 6d, merino up to Hides, medium ox, from 4d to lighter 3£d to 3£d, superior cow from 4d to 4fd, calf up to 4d. Tallow, station packages, up to £lB 5s per ton, rough ljd.
