KAIKORA.

(Own Correspondent.) While Miss J. Dillon was driving near Mr Collins’s gate, on Thursday last, one of the shaft bolts broke. This caused the horse to bolt, capsizing the buggy and throwing Miss Dillon out. Sho was a bit shaken and bruised and sustained a sprained ankle. Mr James Collins and his men finished the erection of tho flag staff yesterday forenoon, on the school ground. The thanks of the community are due to hiin for this very generous gift.
