Ddnidin, This day la tbe paiuters’ dispute the Conciliation Board recommend the rate be half per hoar overtime, time and a quarter the first four hoars, time and a half afterwards and on Good Friday and Christmas Day &Qd Sunday that it be double ; anion men to have the preferenoe of employment. In the wharf laborers’ depute tbe rate be Is 3d per hour, for loading or discharging loose coal Is 6J per hoar, overtime 2s per hoar, employers not to dis criminate against nnion and non onion members. An adjournment was made for a week to enable the parties to accept the award or otherwise.
