Cambridge Chamber of Commerce.

A meeting of the executive of the Chamber of Commerce was held yesterday, Mr G. E. Clark presiding. Satisfaction was expressed that the Postal Department had accepted Messrs Crowther and Bell’s tender for the carriage of an evening mail between Cambridge and Erankton, It was decided to send a letter “of appreciation to the Postmaster-Gene-ral.

A resolution was passed placing on record the high esteem in which the late Mr Thos. Wells was held by members of the community, and tendering condolence to Mrs Wells and family.
