Easter Maœuvres.
By Telegraph.—'Press Association. Auckland, Last Night. In the concluding stages of the Easter manouvres the attacking party met with a fair amount of success, but not such as would have ensured the capture of Auckland. Major Bloomfield suceeded in evading the defenders' outposts and attempted to capture Fort Takapuna. Though they did not succeed, the umpire announced that honours were easy. The enemy's cruiser got within four minutes of landing near Fort Cautley when she was discovered by the searchlights and the guns of the fort brought bo bear upon her with success.
