Fire at Rotorua.
By Telegraph.—Press Association. Rotorua, Last Night. The residence of Mr Maxwell, chemist, was destroyed by fire last night at 11 o'clock. Nothing was saved. The furniture was insured in the New Zealand Company for £125. The lire originated in the dining room. A strong wind was blowing, and the building was reduced to ashes before the brigade arrived. Mr Maxwell is a heavy loser, and his furniture included a valuable piano. The members of the family were rescued with difficulty.
