Stiachan Commissioner at Taranaki, succeeds Mr March ant at Wellington ; Mr McKenzie, Chief Draughtsman, Wellington’, succeeds Mr Strachan. Mr G. Mullet(becomes assistant Surveyor General, hut remains at Auckland as Chief Surveyor. Mr Kensington Chief Draughtsman,lAucklsud, lias been appointed Under Secretary for Lands and Surveys. Mr Unseen, Senior Dist ict Surveyor, Auckland, takes Chief Draughtsmanship Auckland ; Mr Humphries, Chief Sur, veyor, Nelson, becomes Cliief Surveyor Canterbury, Mr Wretman Chief Surveyor, Canterbury, retires on a pension. Mr Murray, Chief Surveyor Westland, succeeds Mr Humphries. Mr Roberts, Chief Draughtsman, Hokitika, succeeds Mr Murray. Mr L. Smith, Inspecting g,Surveyor, Gisborne, is appointed Chief D'aughtsmau in Wellington. and will he Incpec'.ing District Surveyor.
