BRUNSDEN CONCERT COMPANY.
The Biunaden Concert Company appeared in the Volunteer Hall, Hamilton, to a crowded house last evening. A very pleasing programme was given—in fact, the only fault to he found with it was its length. When nineteen items are presented we think that the audience might forego encores if only fiom a humane point of view. The members of the company, however, were anxious to please and responded generously to the nun erous calls made upon them in 'the most good-natured fashion. Mr W. W. Brunsden has a magnificent lass voice ; Mr John Tudor, the comic artist, presents a numhe'r-of comicalities, to which not a shadow of an exception can be taken ; Mr Aspinall possesses a pure tenor voice, and in every case was most favourably received ; Miss Featon was in excel’ent voice, and she has improved vastly since h>r last visit, which is saying a good deal; Miss Ethel Boulton (Kanfurly medallist) has a very sweet voice and was encored at every appearance.
The following was the programme Pianoforte solo, Miss Ethel B niton; plantation song, 1 De Ole Banjo,’ solo and chorus by combined company; comic song, ‘Waiting at the Door, Mary \nu.’ Mr John Tudor; song,‘Come into the Garden, Maud,’ Mr W. Aspinall ; song, ‘Soldiers in the Park’ (with chorus). Miss Ethel Boulton ; song, ‘ Out on the Deep,’ Mr W. W. Brunsien; song, ‘ The Toilers,’ Miss E. L.
